The FAVORITE bag

In the last months my sister Oana wanted badly a new textile bag but I didn’t find time to make her one until this week.
This is her new bag! Oana loves it! I am rarely entirely happy with the things I make! And I can’t believe that I don’t find anything to criticize at this bag.

I love its shape! And the size is perfect!

I especially love the exterior pockets with easy access. There was a time when I sewed clothes myself and I am happy that I remembered how to sew those pockets.
I sewed for the first time an exterior zippered pocket! It is not sewn as perfect as I wanted but I have an excuse: I don’t have a zipper foot !
I don’t know why I have not ordered some feet for my sewing machine, yet. I have only three for my machine: for free motion quilting, 1.4 inch foot and a buttonhole foot.

The bag is not quilted at all. I made it using the heavy cotton canvas I bought from Ikea.

Do you like this purse ? I am crazy about it !
I have two more sisters, I will be busy soon...

Don't forget about my giveaway !
There is still time to enter !

That is a great tote bag! Did you design it or is it a commercial pattern?

Vicki, it is my design. I designed all the bags I made until now.

It's wonderful. You should be marketing your purse patterns as well.

I love your bag...it's quite stunning! The fabrics are wonderful and I love the contrast between the two.
