Pockets with Love

Finally, I can show you my new patterns:

I wanted to make something different (but at the same time something quick) for the little girl of my friends and this is what I came up with : folded pockets, made with origami technique !
These are the quickest things I have ever sewn !

Initially I planned something else for my next patterns but after I made these pockets and I saw how cute they were I just had to write patterns for them !

Here are the pockets:

I could not help myself and I stitched for her even a little bag.

Then I made others...

There are even quicker versions ! I made a few pockets out of paper ! They can be made in minutes ! I hardly stoped from making them, I would have made one of every possible colour !

You can see many pictures ( also larger) on my website and you will find out why I love these pockets so much.
Do you like them ? If so, you can make your own !
These pockets are the funniest and easiest things I have ever sewn !

If you will make some pockets and would like to share them with us, you can upload photos in the Fabric Origami Flickr pool. Can't wait to see your pockets there !

Hi Geta,
How lucky am I stumbling across your blog, I have been to Brasov in Sept 2008 - it was a wonderful visit. My husband was there for a week long conference - we had so much fun, and enjoyed the countryside very much.
Your little bag is ever so cute.

These are adorable.

A quilter showed some she had made on the HGTV forum a week or so ago and I loved hers too.
