Small things

Isn't this pincushion gorgeous ? It is a gift I received from a French friend.

My sister Nina went in France for a few days and I told her to buy me some fabrics.

When I saw your pincushion it mde me smile. I had one years ago before my sewing days (don't know where its at now) but I had it at a really good time of my life that when I saw the photo it brought me joy. Thanks for the memories. I love the fabric your sister brought you back from France. LOL

Geta - can't wait to see what you make with them. Having a couple of snowy days here after having a nice week last week. Spring can't be too far away can it?

I also recognized the pin cushion and realized I have one just like it that was given to me by an international student we hosted several years ago. Guess I never even thought of it as a pin cushion. It's on the shelf in my living room with all the things we've collected from students over the years.

Oh Geta, how lovely! I remember my Grandma using this very same pincushion; I know it was her favorite but never knew you could still find them!!

I've got a pincushion like that one, too, as well as a smaller version that only has four of the little dolls. They always make me smile.
Love all the buttons!
