or like this, but there is even more - I am still working on it.
I found in a hobby shop near me some beads - fimo, polymer clay, I am not sure, but they are so nicely painted. I am glad to support Romanian shops and artisans!
I am more obsessed than ever with apples and I found some nice buttons.
I found even an apple tape!

ohhh I love this box - I made one similar years ago using English Paper Piecing technique. I did it all by hand though - so you connected the sides with a nice sturdy whip stitch - love love the beads!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great way to use hexies - never seen this before!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful little box! Could you make a tutorial for this? I *love* it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful box. I am enjoying looking at some of your quilts too.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the hexie box! All the little treasures you found are wonderful as well.
ReplyDeleteVery cute idea - love the painted beads. They make a very unique knob.

Geta's style : if it's not a quilt, it's a bag. :D. If it's not a bag , then it's definitely a box . :D.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of hexies....and I wanna see it finished. A knob is for a lid ( or a door/drawer ?:D) ...so , what it will be ? :D
I'm in love with the hexagon box. Do you have a tutorial or a pattern for it? I'd love to try to make one myself!
ReplyDeleteLove those hexies! Thanks for linking up with WIP Wednesday.
