The whole piece measures about 25''.
And I pieced it like hexagons: paper templates, glue (instead of basting with thread - and I loved it!). A quick project. So far...
I thought that if you piece by hand, than your piecing will be perfect. It seams it is not always true. I need more practice...
Now to make the winter part!

ReplyDeleteAdorei parabéns!!!Você é sempre um talento .Sou totalmente viciada em papel inglês e faço muito,estou fazendo no momento esposa fazendeiro e me preparando para a tal guerra civil ,que não conheço.Vou fazendo meus hexágonos muitas vezes copiando de gráficos de ponto cruz,pois é mais fácil e existem variedade de desenhos.Acho que você deve começar estas emenda do centro para fora,pois o diamante é mais flexicivel e é mais fácil de acertar,mas como disse é uma questão de treino,sei que vai ficar perfeito depois, vai achar seu jeito.Beijos.
