WIP Wednesday

I am working on 2 bags; both are quilted, one on batting and one on Timtex;
I am taking pictures and I will write soon an interfacing guide for bag making; I made lots of bags lately and I learned a lot.

Do you remember this soft and cozy comforter I made for my little nephew Alex ?

I visited the same shop where I bought the yellow minky (in Romania, if you believe!) and I found these;  I need now some more flannel for the back and a few more hours in the day!.

And these are for Alex too;  I want to make an apron for him -  I have some material that laminates fabric and can't wait to try it.

The cat fabrics are from Elizabeth's Studio.

And maybe some of you would enjoy seeing some real cats !

Pepe admiring the work of some Brazilian artists;  thank you Lucia for the calendar.

Happy Sewing,

  1. Cute little quilt and fabric. I think the cat can't believe it either that it's already March ;)!

  2. Sew pretty! Beautiful kitties! Thanks for sharing ... :) Pat

  3. The fabric you are using for the bags at the top is lovely! Can't wait to see the final bag.

  4. The minky you found is so pretty! I've never seen prints like that. I'm sure they'll be really cuddly quilts for someone special.

  5. I love that Valori Wells print. Looking forward to the finished bags and the guide!

  6. I love that Valori Wells fabric. I saw an article online once where folks got a bunch of fabric inspired tattoos. My favorite was a tattoo based on one of those dandelions :-) Thanks for stopping by WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced!

  7. I love that first fabric, it will be beautiful in a bag!

  8. I would love an interfacing guide especially if you talked about what you can get in Europe.

  9. I love the Wrenly fabric. I have been working with it too. Cats are cute!

  10. Looking forward to your interfacing hints! Your cats are so cute. I love black cats.

  11. Your new cat material is ADORABLE!

Cannot wait to see your bags. Your blog is wonderful. Thank you for sharing all of your talent. I am a new follower and am hoping to join your linky party - even though I am a new piecer, quilter and blogger.

    Thanks again!

  12. Two bags, interfacing guide, an apron for Alex, smart Pepe!
    Life is wonderful!

  13. Just found your blog and now following! I am having fun checking out everything you offer! WOW! I am a bag lady...sooooooo I will be trying some of your patterns. I will link back to you should I post them on my blog! Thnx.
